Meet my family! My name is Amanda, my husband Ivan and our 3 year old son Vincent. We along with our dogs Willow, Lulu and Luna, live at The Farm. Originally from Moonee Ponds but now loving the country life.

Rides on lawn mowers, kangaroos and endless dogs to cuddle what more could a boy and his family wish for. We just love it out here. The fact that we are still so close to everything yet at the same time feel like we are in the middle of nowhere is refreshing and the dogs seem to love it too. So much open space to run free.

We cannot wait to meet you and your dogs and have them spend some time with us.

My Story

I have been working with animals since I can remember. It has always been my passion. Previously working at Zoos Victoria and as well as working in the Vet Nursing world. It was from 2011 to 2024 that I settled down by owning and running the company Pitter Patter Paws Melbourne, a doggy daycare and dog grooming salon. From my humble beginnings in my parents garage to operating three location sites, life was full and busy. Since Covid, having my son and then unfortunately my fight and win against Cancer, it was time for a change.

The Farm became my focus by saying goodbye to my first business along with the business name, this made way for a new adventure to begin. Change is never easy but this time I felt it was all for the best. Now I get to work from home with dogs that I love, be a fun mum and spend quality time with my family.

I cannot wait to continue to grow and build this new business and make The Farm a place that dogs love as much as we do. With my many years of animal and dog experience I hope to create a home away from home for your dogs while they are here with us.

NEWS!!

Stage 2 Dog Kennels NOW OPEN!

In late 2024 we were given the approval to begin building our next stage of the business.

Construction began in February 2025, with us NOW OPEN as of July school holidays!

We now have more dog boarding and doggy daycare availability with the allowance of 60 dogs per day.

Although we are open and ready to take dogs more updates and making the place perfect will still take some time. We are very excited about what we have built and what is to come.

Client Farm Visits - By appointment only

You, your family and your dogs are more than welcome to visit us for a walk through, however, please note this is by appointment only and held on Saturdays between 9am and 3pm.

As we are a 24/7 working family run site, please also note that upon drop off and pick up of your dog we are unable to take you further than the main office and gate. This is for the safety of all the current dogs staying with us at the time. If you wish to see further please make a Saturday Farm Visit booking via phone or email. Thank you.
